Project Handshake©

turnerConsulting has created a unique, patented approach, Project Handshake©, to make it easier for appropriate levels of an organization to remain involved in the management of projects. The Project Handshake© provides a series of questions to be asked and answered, and expectations to be set between four organizational levels of project involvement at the critical points of a project lifecycle:
  • Core team members – Senior managers: CEO, CFO, COO, VPs, Technology and senior functional managers
  • Sponsor - The person(s) who represents the best business interests of the performing organization
  • Project manager
  • Project team members
Clients are instructed in the use of this guideline as a means to improve the likelihood that the organization will provide sufficient support and direction to project managers and team members. The goal is to ensure that projects are successfully initiated, planned and executed. The roles and responsibilities associated with each level of management are carefully defined.
